Members of the audience were taught about the First and Second World Wars when pupils at East Bergholt Primary School showcased all they had learned in a performance in April 1995.
Dressed in modified school uniforms to better suit the era, and with small paper parcels tied round their shoulders, the pupils portrayed the journeys made by young evacuees during the wars.
The performance formed part of the pupils’ learning on the war period, in which they also learnt traditional wartime songs.
