Halesworth

The east Suffolk town is sometimes overlooked due to its proximity to the popular coast.

However, Halesworth is full of character and quaint independent shops and cafés, as well a market which takes place every Wednesday.

Clare

Suffolk's smallest town has one of the prettiest places in the county to visit. 

Located near to tourist hotspots such as Long Melford and Lavenham, Clare certainly has plenty to do.

From a walk around the country park to visiting one of its pubs, the stunning town is well worth a visit in 2024.

Eye

Perhaps overlooked due to being in the north of the county, Eye is brimming with traditional Suffolk character. 

The town's medieval castle stands as one of the town's main attractions, but it is perfect for afternoon browse whatever the weather.

Dunwich 

While some areas on the Suffolk coast are more popular than others, Dunwich has always maintained its peaceful nature. 

Home to just a few hundred people, the tiny Suffolk village is ideal for a quiet walk by the sea and a pit-stop at the award-winning The Ship pub.

The mid Suffolk town is full of idyllic cottages and streets that make it a wonderful place to visit. 

Hadleigh has a huge range of independent shops selling everyday essentials, while its annual show is one of the highlights in the town's calendar.
