A new travel branch of the Co-op is set to open in a Suffolk market town.

The new travel agency will be opening as part of the Co-Op food store in Hamblin Road in Woodbridge on Thursday, May 30.

Visitors will be able to choose from a range of holidays, from beach breaks to family getaways, as well as receiving advice on holiday bookings, travel insurance, currency exchange and guidance on destinations for those with health requirements.

Branch manager Amanda Lucas said: “I have always had a passion for exploring new places and meeting people which is why I jumped at the chance to become the new travel branch manager in Woodbridge.

"I look forward to being part of the town, helping holidaymakers with their plans for 2024 and beyond and making connections with members of the community in Woodbridge.

“Woodbridge is a hugely important town for the East of England Co-Op and we’re excited to offer our independent travel advice ahead of the busy holiday season.
