Police are wanting to speak to three men after a dog died following being attacked by another dog in a west Suffolk town. 

The incident took place at the Puddle Brook Playfields, near to Greenfields Way on the Clements Estate in Haverhill, at about 10pm on Sunday, May 12. 

Rosie Cornelius said her English Bulldog cross Teddy was being walked when it was attacked by a large dog that was not wearing a lead or collar.

According to Suffolk police, it is believed the dog is a black Cane Corso. 

Teddy died the day after the attack, leaving Ms Cornelius and her family "devastated". 

Suffolk police is now looking to speak to three men who were walking the dog.

All three men are described as white. One was wearing a long, dark coat, while another had short dirty-blonde hair and was wearing shorts.

The men are alleged to have been holding cans at the time of the incident.
