Youngsters from across Norfolk and Suffolk descended on a Lowestoft primary school for a special event.
A multi-school athletics competition was held for the third time at Elm Tree Primary School in Lowestoft.
It saw children from 12 schools across Norfolk and Suffolk competing in the Trust-wide Evolution Academy Cup at the school last Friday.
Numerous sports events - featuring running, throwing and jumping disciplines - were held in the morning and the afternoon, before the competition concluded with a 4x75 metre relay that was contested by all schools.
With Suffolk-based schools including Coldfair Primary - as well as Dell Primary, Elm Tree Primary and Poplars Primary schools from Lowestoft - they were joined by Norfolk schools on the day.
Those competing from Norfolk were Angel Road Infant School, Angel Road Junior School, Bignold Primary, Costessey Primary, Eaton Primary, Filby Primary, Nelson Infant School and Wensum Junior School.
And after some close contests, where great sportsmanship was on display, the multi-school sporting spectacular was hailed a success.
The "amazing efforts" of all the children participating was hailed as awards for sportsmanship and overall winners were presented on the day.
The Evolution Academy Trust sportsmanship award winner went to Wensum Junior School.
The overall top three schools - after close contests - saw Dell Primary in first, with Elm Tree Primary in second and Costessey Primary in third.
With the sporting event organised by Dan Smith and Harry Wyer, teachers at Elm Tree Primary School, the awards were presented by Head of Operations Luke Delderfield.
Also helping were the Sports Leaders from Pakefield High School, who were thanked for their efforts.
Mr Smith said: "This is the third time we have held the Trust-wide Evolution Cup - although it is a huge undertaking.
"It is absolutely worth it when the children come together, to represent their school teams and display superb sportsmanship.
"It was a great day and well done to all the children.
"They represented collaboration across the Trust impeccably and we are all very proud."
