Cyclists are saddling up for the Suffolk Fire Ride, propelling support for the Fire Fighters Charity while soaking in the picturesque Suffolk journey.
The annual exercise and fundraising spectacle gears up on Sunday, hosted by the Aldeburgh station of Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
Participants can choose one out of two route lengths of 37 or 65 miles, commencing at 8am, with registration from 7am.
Group manager Carolyn Crabb of the fire service said: “The Suffolk Fire Ride is always a popular event, and we are grateful for the support of those taking part and their family and friends.

“The ride is open to cyclists of all abilities and the money raised from the event will go towards supporting fire fighters across the country through the Fire Fighters Charity.”
This ride marks the 11th event, continually helping the Fire Fighters Charity, formed during the Second World War to aid the families of firefighters.
Now, it also offers mental, physical and social welfare support services for firefighters.
Cyclists can join the cause by attending the ride, with an online entry fee of £30 or £35 on the day itself.
