The A14 was temporarily blocked after a person was spotted walking near the side of the road.
Police responded to calls on Tuesday, July 2, following concerns for the person's safety.
The incident happened at around 9.39pm on Tuesday on the A14 eastbound near Sproughton.

Police say they located the individual and put out a rolling roadblock to ensure their safety.
The person was then taken to a safe location and the road was reopened.
