An M&S Foodhall supermarket is still under planning and there are aims to begin development this year, it has emerged.
The retail park development containing the Foodhall is east of Stowmarket's Tomo Road Business Park and would consist of three retail stores.
M&S Foodhall has already signed up to take one space.
Speaking at the time of the consultation, Location 3 Properties Ltd wrote: "The plans will bring new names and employers to Stowmarket, provide more retail choice for Stowmarket residents and represent a significant investment in the local area."
M&S already has a number of stores in Suffolk - including another Foodhall in Martlesham.
On the development, an M&S spokesperson said: “We’re excited about the potential to open a brand new M&S Foodhall in Stowmarket.
"We'll be bringing the very best of M&S Food to the local community with a wide range of great quality, trusted value and innovative products.”
There were hopes to begin work on the site this year, with planning applications due to have been submitted in autumn 2023.
