Fire crews were called out to an incident at a police investigation centre to free a person from handcuffs.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was called just after 2pm on Monday to the police investigation centre on River Lane, Bury St Edmunds.
One fire crew from the west Suffolk town was deployed to cut the detainee free from handcuffs using small gear.
The detainee is now safe.
A stop time was recorded at 2.35pm.
