A bumper number of ladies dressed in pink took part in the 20th anniversary of a tractor run.

Thousands of people lined the streets of north Suffolk on Sunday to see more than 190 tractors take part in the Pink Ladies' Tractor Run.

Houses and businesses were bedecked in pink bunting, banners and flags, while many supporters were dressed head-to-toe in pink.

Nearly 200 women dressed in pink drove tractors along the 20 route, which takes in north Suffolk and Norfolk.

Organiser Annie Chapman said: "We managed to avoid the worst of the weather both on the outward journey and, almost, on the way back.

"Apart from the amazing support for the nearly 200 ladies around the 20-mile route, our wonderful town of Harleston was almost overwhelming.

"We were very appreciative of the safety measures put in place by TMO Highways, (whose staff gave their time free) as the pavements and marketplace were packed with hundreds of enthusiastic well-wishers."

The event raises money for Cancer Research UK.

The total raised from this year's run will be announced in September.
