One of Suffolk's landmark Martello Towers has been put on the market for £450,000.
Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Bawdsey, the property is designated as a Grade II listed scheduled monument and was built in 1809 as one of only 17 on the east coast.
Historic England calls the building's gun deck the best preserved and most original of any Martello Tower they have seen.
In the 1980s the Tower was converted to residential use and has been taken back to its core for new refurbishment works.

East Suffolk Council has granted planning permission to replace the external stairs, fenestration and internal alterations.
The property is accessed from a track that leads to the 0.4 acre grounds with steps leading up to the first floor.
The open area provides a general living space and was fitted with a kitchen, sitting room and dining room.
An aperture and stairs lead down to the ground floor where a bedroom, utility room, shower room and cloakroom are proposed.
A further two staircases from the first floor lead to the upper floor where there is a basic conservatory with consent to be replaced with a contemporary, zinc-roofed room.
