Plans to erect a bigger spectator stand and proposals to a road closure to facilitate the installation of cabling are among the public notices people in Suffolk should be aware of this week.
1. Needham Market Football Club, Needham Market
The football club has submitted plans to demolish an existing spectator stand and construct a larger stand in its place.
It also proposes toilets, hospitality facilities, a club shop and a disabled access lift as well as the phased installation of solar panels to the roof.
2. Kerry Avenue, Ipswich
Suffolk County Council will be closing part of Kerry Avenue from Lovetofts Drive to Lovetofts Drive Service Road for footway works.
The closure is expected to be in place from Monday, July 15 until Wednesday, July 17 with access remaining open for pedestrians and cyclists.
3. Briar Lane, Rickinghall
The road will be closed from Tuesday, July 16 until Wednesday, July 31 to facilitate the installation of duct and testing and cabling for fibre works.
An official diversion route will be in place along the A143 and Calkewood Lane.
4. Bury Road, Depden
A temporary 30mph per hour speed limit will be in place along the A143 in Depden, near Bury St Edmunds, from Wednesday, July 17 until March 31, 2025.
The restriction will be in place from Rockery Farm to the junction with Silver Tree Way to facilitate the safe us of site access.
5. Orwell Road, Felixstowe
Suffolk County Council intend to close Orwell Road to facilitate a new water connection from Monday, July 15 until Wednesday, July 17.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists but drivers will need to follow a diversion along Ranelagh Road, Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton Road and Victoria Street.
