A Suffolk beach with "unspoilt sand" has once again been named among the best in the UK.
Walberswick beach, near Southwold, has been included in a list of the best beaches put together by The Times and The Sunday Times.
The tranquil coastal spot has grown in popularity in recent years as a result of its stunning scenery and peaceful surroundings.
It is the latest occasion that Walberswick's beach has been named one of the UK's best.
According to the national newspapers, Walberswick is the "better alternative" to neighbouring Southwold with its "unspoilt sand and shingle beach, backed by low dunes and the grassy banks of the Dunwich River".
Walberswick has been dubbed one of the poshest places to live in the UK with an average house price of £1,082,814.
Chief travel writer at The Times, Chris Haslam, visited all the beaches included on the list and rated them on an 11-point checklist.
The checklist covered everything from cafés to car parking, loos to dog-friendliness.
Mr Haslam said: "The 50 beaches described in this guide, though, offer excellence in far more than water quality.
"They are the best we have: blessed with outstanding natural beauty, superb infrastructure and loved by those who live, work and play there."
Sheringham in Norfolk was named as the best beach in the East of England in the newspapers' guide.
No other Suffolk beaches were included, while Holkham, Brancaster and Burnham Overy Staithe in Norfolk were also listed.
