A PedalCab tour have been unveiled in a Suffolk town to offer visitors a chance to get around and see the sights with ease.
Bury's Best By Bike is a 25-minute tour around areas of the town including Abbey Gardens, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the Theatre Royal.
EcoCarriers Bury St Edmunds will run the service until Saturday, August 31.
Sue Warren, marketing manager of Our Bury St Edmunds BID, said: "We are pleased to support them in the Bury's Best By Bike offer, which I'm sure will delight both visitors to our town and residents.
"We particularly like that visitors over the summer who face mobility challenges or disabilities that hinder their independent travel will be able to see our beautiful town."
Bury St Edmunds Tour Guides, who deliver the very popular daily walking tours and the Ghostly and Macabre Walks, have recorded optional commentary for the rides so visitors can learn about the places they see on the route.
John Saunders, marketing officer for the Tour Guides said; “Having previously worked with the rickshaws, we are pleased to be associated with the PedalCab by providing a recorded commentary.
"It does not replace our guided tours but fits well with our desire to make the sights of the town more accessible to those who may not be able to undertake a walking tour or those who want a brief overview before booking a full guided tour.”
Director of EcoCarriers Libby Ranzetta added: "Our PedalCab rides are a great way for visitors to see what the town has to offer before exploring by foot, and we are delighted to be working with Bury St Edmunds and Beyond and the tour guides to offer this fun and informative experience throughout the summer.”
Bury's Best By Bike PedalCab rides will run Monday to Saturday every half an hour from 10am until 12.30pm.
Tickets are a £5 donation and can be booked online.
