Drivers will be faced with a nearly 70 mile diversion as the A12 is closed for works.
The stretch of the major route will be closed between Darsham and Blythburgh overnight from Monday, July 29 and Friday, August 2.
The closure will be in place between 8pm and 5am to ensure the safety of operatives from Suffolk Highways.
It follows a similar closure of the same stretch of the A12 in May.

The work due to take place includes surface dressing, lining and road stud installations.
According to Suffolk Highways, the official diversion in place will be just under 70 miles long to allow for HGVs which cannot fit down the smaller roads others would use.
Drivers will be diverted along the A1120, A140, A143, A145 and the A12.
The Suffolk County Council website also says the stretch of the A12 will be closed again in August.
