A man has died after the air ambulance was called to an incident in a Suffolk town.
Paramedics were alerted to a medical emergency at a home in Sudbury at about 11.30am on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said three ambulances, an ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to reports of a woman injured in a fall and a man who was in need of medical attention.
The air ambulance landed in a field just off Middleton Road, near Ballingdon in the town.
A woman was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds for further treatment, but the man died at the scene, the spokesman confirmed.
