A Felixstowe man who "bombarded" a woman with messages and turned up of at her place of work has been convicted of stalking.
Mark Payne, who is of Langer Road in the east Suffolk resort, appeared before Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Ipswich.
He was charged with a single count of stalking without fear, alarm or distress between August 1 and August 7 in 2022.
A court listing said Payne's behaviour included "bombarding her with phone calls and messages, turning up at her place of work and home address when asked not to".
Payne, 52, pleaded guilty to the offences.
Magistrates at the court told him to pay a fine of £108.
Payne was also instructed to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £200 and a surcharge of £43.
A collection was made for the sums to be deducted from Payne's benefits.
Payne's guilty plea was taken into account when magistrates decided on his sentence, the court listing added.
