My WiSH Charity has celebrated the completion of 'Grow Your Dough', a three-month campaign started to fund an activity assistant role at West Suffolk Hospital.
Over the period, 30 teams creatively used a donated £50 to raise the funds.
A total of £31,300 was raised which will be used to provide an activity assistant for an elderly care medicine ward at the hospital.
Trophies were awarded for categories such as 'Most Dedicated Team' and 'Best Fundraising Idea'.
Danie Curd, founder of Quality Eats, said: “When My WiSH approached us to take part in Grow Your Dough, of course we said yes.
"Dementia affects so many people, including my Grandma.
"We are honoured to have won the ‘Best Community Fundraiser’ award and we would love to do this again.”
Rosie Cawston, ward G4 manager, said: “Thank you from ward G4 for your support.
"To have a specific role dedicated to engaging with patients with dementia and delirium is hugely valuable to us on the ward."
Jeremy Over, executive director of workforce and communications, said: "Once again, our fundraisers have stepped-up to make this campaign an absolute success."
