The landlords of a Suffolk pub say they are "over the moon" after winning an award for the best restaurant in the East of England.
The Greyhound Inn in Pettistree, near Wickham Market, east Suffolk, was named Regional Winner for the Central and East of England award by the Good Food Guide's Best Local.
Husband and wife team Will Orrock and Cassidy Hughes and head chef Adam Spicer say they are thrilled about the news.
Mr Orrock said: "We're absolutely over the moon to receive this award from The Good Food Guide.
"We love making everyone feel at home, whether you’re popping in for a quiet pint of local ale at the bar, a simple lunch, or a celebratory feast, our mission has always been to deliver a top-notch local pub experience, and we pour our heart and soul into it.
"So, to receive this award, especially from our delightful guests' nominations, and to be alongside so many other fantastic local restaurants is simply wonderful and means the world to us all!"
The Greyhound has made a name for itself since reopening in November 2022 with locally sourced food and an everchanging menu.

The landlords say they have looked to reflect Suffolk's rich agricultural heritage with fresh local produce and Mr Spicer changes the menu weekly - with everything being made in house from the black treacle and rye sourdough and house cured meats.
Game, offal and wild fish cooked with a nod to provincial, rural cookery are proudly celebrated at the Greyhound seen in dishes like muntjac tartare, quail eggs, wood sorrel and pickled red currants.

The Telegraph’s restaurant critic, William Sitwell, described the pub menu as “a tour de force of gutsy, hearty, flavourful food”.
The Good Food Guide’s list of 100 best local restaurants saw an unprecedented 60,000 votes cast from around the UK.
The Guide says the result showcases “a snapshot of extraordinary local creativity and talent, personal hospitality and genuine community spirit".
