A Suffolk artist has created a new sign for a park after being commissioned to carry out the work by a town council.

Jane High, an animal portrait artist from Rushmere St Andrew, has created the new sign which is displayed at the entrance to Elmhurst Park at Woodbridge.

The design shows some of the park's familiar features, including the bandstand.

She said: "The Elmhurst Park sign was commissioned by Woodbridge Town Council who supplied the blank boarding onto which I designed the lettering, imagery and then completed the hand painting.
