The Primadonna Festival in mid Suffolk is returning with a jam-packed weekend of literary events, workshops, live music, and family activities.
Highlighting often underrepresented voices in arts and book publishing, the festival offers an immersive experience at Stowmarket’s Food Museum.
Author talks, entertainment, food, and kids’ fun is guaranteed at this event, held from Friday to Sunday.
Festival director Alice Hardaker said: “Prepare for a stellar line-up of thinkers and dreamers, mischief makers and party lovers.

"Not only for bookworms, at Primadonna Festival there’s also every kind of entertainment.
"Of course, you can expect loads of conversations about books and writing workshops, but also great food, a marketplace marquee with independent makers and sellers, plus eclectic cabaret, dance, DJs and live music from tomorrow’s biggest names. "
The festival promises to be a great opportunity for keen readers, new writers or aspiring publishing industry professionals.
A dedicated 'For Writers’ programme is also part of the itinerary.

There will be a series of talks by literary guests exploring various themes and promoting their new works.
From exploring folklore and the feminine with Sinéad Gleeson, to Jane Savidge discussing her latest book on the music PR industry.
The performance line-up includes a Drag Night hosted by multi-award-winning author, Aida H Dee, and comedy by Meryl O'Rourke.
Dance workshops are also on offer alongside live music by fast rising talents.

Other acts include Kitty Perrin, Chrissy Day, Arthur Black, Lia Rye, Isamya and many more.
Catering to the needs of families, Primadonna offers a programme for kids, including popular children’s and young adult authors, animal interactions, crafts and storytelling.
Weekend tickets are £60 and camping is available.
Local residents from IP14 postcodes can access the festival for free on the Sunday.
