From a chart-topping singer to a street food festival, here are seven major events and things to do in Suffolk in August.
1. Becky Hill
When: Friday 9
Where: Newmarket July Course, Newmarket, CB8 0XE
Popstar Becky Hill is making her headliner debut as part of the Newmarket Nights series of concerts.
She is one of the biggest singers in the country - with 18 top 40 singles and two Brit awards.
Hill said: “I had such an amazing time with Pete Tong at Newmarket back in 2019 so I can’t wait to bring my own headline show to the racecourse."
2. Aldeburgh Carnival
When: Saturday 17 to Monday 19
Where: Aldeburgh High Street, Aldeburgh, IP15 5AN
Aldeburgh is celebrating its 80th annual celebration with an aptly named "Anything 80" theme.
The three day celebration begins on Saturday, August 17 with the carnival procession taking place through the town on Monday, August 19.
Other events such as duck races, kite flyers and a 10k mini marathon are also taking place across the weekend.
3. Festival of Wheels
When: Saturday 3 and Sunday 4
Where: Trinity Park, Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, IP3 8HU
The Festival of Wheels is a celebration of everything motor with stunt shows displaying a range of different vehicles.
Two of the monster trucks coming to the event are named Big Pete and Grim Reaper.
There will also be non car-related things to do including the Have Ago circus skills workshop.

4. Bury St Edmunds Food and Drink Festival
When: Sunday 25 and Monday 26
Where: Bury St Edmunds town centre, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 3DG
The food and drink festival will be packed full of treats to enjoy in a showcase of local vendors.
A variety of produce will be available to try at The Farmers Market on Angel Hill with face painting happening in the arc Shopping Centre.
Celebrity chef Galton Blackiston will be making a special appearance at the Stoves Cookery Theatre on the event's second day.
5. Framlingham Country Show
When: Saturday 17 and Sunday 18
Where: Framlingham College, College Road, Framlingham, IP13 9EY
The two day show is a country extravaganza combined with a display of classic cars.
Shows and attractions guests can get involved with include cookery demonstrations, falconry displays and chainsaw carving.
The Festival of Cars is running alongside the country show while Inspire Motorbike & BMX Stunt Team will be putting on displays.
6. Folk East
When: Friday 16 to Sunday 18
Where: Glemham Hall, Little Glemham, IP13 0BT
Folk East is a three day festival full of music, food, art and ale for the whole family to enjoy.
The musical line up includes Kris Drever Band, Fay Hield Trio and The Gigspanner Big Band.
Visitors attending the event can take part in workshops as well as attend talks from artists, authors and gardeners.
7. Sudbury Street Food Festival
When: Sunday 25
Where: Market Hill & Sudbury Arts Centre, Sudbury, C010 2EA
Sudbury Town Council is hosting a free festival on the August bank holiday weekend.
Visitors can enjoy a range of diverse street food from vendors such as Wagyu Burgers and Mac Street Kitchen.
Live music will be performed throughout the day by Sudbury Arts Centre.
