Police are appealing for witnesses after a car crashed into a takeaway in a Suffolk town, seriously injuring three people.
Emergency services were called to Tallou Court, in Lawson Place, Bury St Edmunds, at around 5.30pm on Saturday to reports of a BMW crashing into a shop front.
Three pedestrians were airlifted to hospital where they all currently remain for treatment.
Two of the casualties are now described as having potentially life-changing injuries while one is now being described as serious but stable.
The driver also sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital, but has since been released.

A large police cordon was set up with multiple ambulance, fire and police vehicles, but this has since been lifted and emergency services have left the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision and asking any drivers in the area at with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
