Three people remain in hospital after a vehicle crashed into a shop front on Saturday, July 27.
Police officers were called to Lawson Place, Bury St Edmunds, just after 5.30pm Saturday 27 July, to reports of a single vehicle crash into Moreton Hall Fish & Kebab takeaway.
The fire service, ambulance crews and an air ambulance attended the scene where three pedestrians were injured.
The pedestrians remain in hospital after sustaining potentially life-changing injuries.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said, “An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision.”
Rowena Lindberg, councillor for Moreton Hall said, "Such a terrible incident that will have a huge impact on many in the community.
"My thoughts go out to those involved and their families, I wish them a speedy recovery."
"I also wanted to send my thoughts and support to the staff of the Fish and Kebab shop . I know that the local community hold them in high regard."
No arrests have been made.
The road was closed for some time on Saturday evening and a cordon was put in place.
