Road closures will be in place to allow for a pair of 580-tonne transformers to travel through Suffolk in August.
The transformers will leave Cliff Quay in Ipswich and travel to Eye Synchronous Condenser Plant in Yaxley, on Sunday, August 11 and Sunday, August 18.
As part of the transportation route, the A140 will close and a rolling road block will be put in place on the A14.
The 80m long loads will leave Ipswich at around 6am and will travel via local Ipswich roads to the A14.

There will be a rolling roadblock on the A14 at this time from Junction 53 to Junction 51 to allow for the wrongsiding of the transformers and there will also be multiple road closures in Ipswich prior to this.
A spokesman for the police also confirmed there will be temporary parking restrictions in Ipswich and further details will be provided shortly.

The transformers will then join the A140 after leaving Ipswich and will travel up to Mendlesham Industrial Estate, mid Suffolk, where they will take a short break, before continuing on to Yaxley.
During this final stretch of the journey the A140 will be closed from the A14 junction at Beacon Hill Services, near Needham Market, to the A143 junction, near Scole, at the Suffolk-Norfolk border.

This closure will allow for the construction of a temporary overbridge at Brockford Street so the transformers can pass through safely.
A 42 mile diversion route will be in place along the A14 and A143 during this time.
Drivers have been warned of heavy delays and advised to find alternative routes.
