A man who was found to have a sock containing five wraps of cocaine hidden in his underwear during a strip search at a Suffolk police station has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Police stopped in a car in Ixworth, after seeing a suspected drug exchange and found £65 cash in the car and a further £245 in his pockets, Ipswich Crown Court heard.
He was taken to Bury St Edmunds police station where the grey sock containing five wraps of cocaine was found in his underwear during a strip search.
Messages related to drug dealing were also found on his phone.

Twenty-two-year-old Lika of Lime Tree Close, Wymondham, admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply on May 23 this year, possessing criminal property on the same date and driving without insurance.
He was given an 18 month prison sentence suspended for 12 months, a ten day rehabilitation activity requirement and ordered to do 120 hours unpaid work.
The court heard that Lika was an Italian citizen who came to the UK three years ago.
He had started using cocaine and when he could no longer fund his drug use he had started working for his dealer who had provided him with a car, drugs, telephone and the postcodes of drug deliveries.
