Seven forests in Suffolk have been named among the most peaceful areas in the UK.
Bramlett Residential researched the best locations across the country for people wishing to escape busy town and city life, with a forest on their doorstep.
There were 330 forests chosen for the list, with Suffolk featuring seven times.
Rendlesham Forest, near Woodbridge, was ranked second overall and was just beaten to the top spot by New Forest in Hampshire.
The other Suffolk forests included in the list are:
- Bradfield Woods, near Felsham in west Suffolk
- The Kings Forest, near Elveden
- Mill Stream Nature Reserve, near Kesgrave
- Freston Wood, near Freston in the Shotley Peninsula
- Groton Wood, near Boxford
- Dollops Wood, near Polstead

Eric Bramlett, owner of Bramlett Residential, said: "We are seeing more and more people looking to relocate to countryside settings and away from big cities.
"The outdoor lifestyle and trips such as camping have become hugely popular over recent years.
"The new data which we have collected will hopefully guide UK residents on their journey to finding the best new housing locations which are close to forests, where they can enjoy a peaceful and a tranquil life."
