A festival set in a picturesque Suffolk village featuring a host of big-name acts is set to return later this month.

Returning for the fifth year running, the Annual Historic Lavenham (Suffolk) Festival Theatre will take place from Tuesday, August 13 to Sunday, August 18.

Acts this year include The Shires, Taylor Swift Experience, Voodoo Room, Clearwater Creedence Revival, The Outlaw Eagles, Bad Company Experience and afternoon matinees with The Carpenters Experience and The All or Nothing Musical, which tells the story of Small Faces.

Several comedians are also scheduled to perform throughout the week, including Lee Hurst and a host of other big names.

The event is being held at the Pavilion in Bridge Street Road in Lavenham, a village which is famous for its half-timbered medieval cottages and circular walks.

Organisers say the theatre is fully covered and there is on-site visitor parking available.
