A motorcyclist was arrested in an east Suffolk town after being caught speeding and registering positive in a road side drug test.

At some time on Wednesday morning in Felixstowe, a rider on a motorcycle was spotted speeding by officers in Cobbold Road, near the Spa Pavilion in Undercliff Road West.

The rider was then stopped and tested for drugs using a road side drug test.

A police spokesman later said the drugs test was positive and the driver was arrested.

They were taken to a nearby police station to be questioned.
