As the colder months draw in, the countdown to bonfire night begins.

Here are five firework shows in Suffolk that are worth visiting.

1. Ipswich Fireworks

Where: Trinity Park, Felixstowe Rd, Ipswich IP3 8UH

When: Saturday, November 2

Cost: Free - £16
Trinity Park fireworks are back, featuring live music, a special guest and street food.

The event have announced R&B artist, Lemar, as the celebrity headliner for the evening.

Doors open at 3.30pm, entertainment starts at 4pm and fireworks begin at 8pm.

Tickets range from under fives going free, children aged 5-12 costing £7, teens 13-17 costing £12 and adults costing £16.

2. Bond is Back

Where: Christchurch Park, Fonnereau Road, Ipswich IP4 2BX

When: Saturday, November 2

Christchurch fireworks will begin at 6pm when doors open, the display is held at 8pm.

There's plenty to do while waiting for the show to begin, live entertainment, locally sourced street food stalls, a bar, a fairground, and a children's funfair.

3. Museum of East Anglian Life

Where: Iliffe Way, Stowmarket IP14 1DL

When: Saturday, November 2

Cost: Free - £6

The Food Museum sets to put on a display that "goes off with a bang".

The event, rated among the UK's top Bonfire Night celebrations by Time Out, opens at 6pm and the display begins at 7.30pm.

The night promises a roaring bonfire, fairground amusements, food trucks and steam engine from the museum.

Under threes go free, Children aged 4-16 pay £4 and adults pay £5 until October 21.

4. Heveningham Hall

Where: The Drive, Heveningham IP19 0PN

When: Saturday, November 9

Cost: Free - £15

The Hoosiers will perform at Heveningham Hall (Image: Charlotte Bond) Heveningham Hall have announced that noughties pop rock band, The Hoosiers will be performing at the firework display this year, along with other artists.

Gates open at 4.30pm, drawing visitors into a night of music, fairground rides and food.

Under twos go free, children aged 2-14 pay £5 and adult tickets are £15.

5. Hadleigh Fireworks

Where: Hadleigh United Football Club, Tinker's Lane, Hadleigh, Suffolk IP7 5NF

When: Friday, November 1

Cost: Free - £6

Gates open at 6.30pm ready for the display to begin at 7.45pm.

Hot food and a licensed bar will be available at the display.

Tickets on the gate cost £6 for adults, £5 for under 16s and under fives go free. Family tickets for two adults and three children are available for £20.
