The news was revealed on the Premier League's website this afternoon - the price of one player from each top tier team will be unveiled today.
Analysing Davis' price, 'The Scout' wrote: "Ipswich Town’s Leif Davis (£4.5m) has one of the best-ever records of any promoted defender in Fantasy.
"The left-back produced two goals and 18 assists last season, with his set-piece duties helping him create an eye-catching 125 chances in the 2023/24 Championship."
Davis will come face-to-face with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in Town's first away game of the season on August 24th.
And Haaland, who bagged 27 goals in the top tier last season, will be the most expensive player in the history of FPL next term, costing £15m - a million more than the previous record, held by himself, Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo and Robin van Persie.
The other players to have prices revealed so far are Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis (£4m) and Leicester defender Ricardo Pereira (£4.5m).
FPL is one of the most popular fantasy sports games in the world. Players pick a squad of 15 Premier League stars for a maximum cost of £100m, and they then accrue points based on their performances.
