Ipswich Town Women have made their sixth signing of the summer as goalkeeper Natalia Negri joins from Crystal Palace.
The 20-year-old was part of the Eagles squad that won the Barclays Championship last season.
Negri came through the Arsenal youth system and spent time on loan at Charlton prior to joining Palace in 2022. She has also represented England at multiple youth levels.
She will compete with current goalkeepers Laura Hartley and Nina Meollo, having already joined up with the Town squad as preparations for the new season continue at Playford Road.
Manager Joe Sheehan said: “Natalia is another player we are excited to be working with. She has a good grounding having come through at Arsenal, while also having good Championship experience when playing nearly half of Crystal Palace’s games last season when they won the division.
“She’s a really exciting prospect with a lot of very good qualities and a personality we feel will be important around the group, strengthening the competition in our goalkeeping department.”
The Tractor Girls have already brought in Angela Addison, Grace Garrad, Shauna Guyatt, Charlotte Fleming and Ella Rutherford this summer.
