Former Ipswich Town starlet Teddy Bishop is now a free agent.
Lincoln City manager Michael Skubala admitted in June that the midfielder was likely to leave the club after contract negotiations collapsed.
The 28-year-old has now taken to social media to confirm he has left the LNER Stadium after scoring 15 goals in 112 appearances for the League One club.
Cambridge-born Bishop came through the youth ranks at Ipswich before bursting onto the first-team scene in 2014/15. The twinkle-toed teenager played a key role as Mick McCarthy's men secured a Championship play-off spot.
His Town tale, however, ultimately proved to be one of repeated injury set-backs. After scoring five goals across 81 starts and 51 sub appearances, he was sold to Lincoln for a small fee in 2021. Bishop would later label the way his Portman Road exit was handled by Paul Cook as 'brutal, almost disrespectful'.
