Ipswich Town left-back Leif Davis has been nominated for the PFA Championship Player of the Year award.
The 24-year-old provided 18 assists, a new Championship record for a defender, during the Blues’ promotion season, also bagging two goals. That secured him a place in the EFL Championship Team of the Year.

He is up against Adam Armstrong (24g, 13a for Southampton), Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall (12g, 15a for Leicester), Georginio Rutter (8g, 16a for Leeds), Crysencio Summerville (21g, 10a for Leeds) and Sammie Szmodics (33g, 4a for Blackburn).
The winner, voted for by members of the Professional Footballer's Association, will be revealed at an awards night at the Manchester Opera House on Tuesday, August 20.
