Ipswich Town have unveiled their new pink third kit for the 2024/25 Premier League season - here's what fans are saying about it...
The kit was launched at 12 noon today, with a video featuring Suffolk superstar Ed Sheeran, the man who designed it.
Inspired by 'Suffolk Pink' - the name given to the unique colour found on many of the county's iconic cottages - the shirt features a silhouette of Framlingham Castle and The Wolsey Gate (which inspired the turrets at the top of the Town badge).
Soundwaves captured from the cheer of the crowd as players ran out of the Portman Road tunnel appear on the front, as does a representation of the 60 miles of coastline running from Felixstowe to Lowestoft.
Here's what fans are saying about the kit on social media...

Thing of beauty

It’s a winner! Not sure if and when the team will wear it, but it looks lovely and I’m sure the ladies and real men will love it .

Big fan. I am not a big fan of the home and away, I think it might be because I'm colour blind but I love this.

Already purchased it! Love a pink shirt! 👚

I don't hate it but equally it's not something I see myself in. I think the fact so many have released a pink kit this season makes this less exciting. I like it when we're different, like the away kit.

Love it , only problem is so do my 12 grandkids , I better get a loan out lmao , ty Ed for costing me a fortune 🤣

But are you gonna buy one @mark__heath IMO it's too busy, a subtle pink gradient would've been exceptional, but there's too much happening for me, sometimes things can be overdesigned

Might be one that looks better in the flesh... but first impression is that it's one that I'll swerve
— Phil Kerridge (@KerridgePhil) August 9, 2024
Absolute 🔥. Love this, and feel we will see this more than the away this season
— Tom (@tomasnunn) August 9, 2024
It's a beaut. Modern but a total break from the usual for us is a good thing imo. Suspect it will divide opinion but I love it.

Ugly.

“Striking”. “Bold”. “Colourful”. “Different”. I love it. I think it’s even nicer than the Blackmone from 2yrs ago.

We had a pink keepers top last year, was straight down planet blue for that one too, love a pink kit
— kevin (@kevin_hurst) August 9, 2024
I don’t paticularly like it. It’s quite ‘busy’ - the detail between the sponsor and club/Umbro badges are unnecessary. I think if the colours were inverted, then it’d be banging! Not for me but good for those who do like it 👍
— Craig Evans (@CRA1G_EVANS) August 9, 2024
100% 👍🏽 It may be out of some peoples comfort zone as they like traditional away colours but for me it will be a good seller
— Dale 63 (@dale_63) August 9, 2024
i prefer the pink goalkeeper kit but it’ll do the job
— Sammy (@sammywillss) August 9, 2024
Really like it, so much better than the away one

Top draw love it 😻

Real men don't fear pink. It's bold, I like it.

Love it
