CYRIL PELLETT In loving memory of a husband, father and grandfather who passed away at Ipswich Hospital on September 29th aged 87 years. He was the beloved husband of Diane, devoted father to Mark and Darren and loving grandad to Mikey, Matthew and Andrew. Cyril was a family man but also contributed significantly to community life in and around Leiston. During his youth, he played football for Leiston Town for a number of years and was involved in the Scouting movement receiving awards for his service. He also organised coach trips and Christmas clubs for local residents, was an active member of the stamp club, and for anyone who visited his workshop in his loft, you will have seen his proficiency and enthusiasm for model boat building which he raced and sailed at the boating ponds in the South East of England, and latterly in Aldeburgh and Woodbridge. Family flowers only with any donations in memory of Cyril will be shared with Leiston First Responders and East Anglian Air Ambulance and can be sent to Tony Brown's Funeral Service, New Cut, Saxmundham, IP17 1EH. Celebration of his life, Thursday October 13th at 10.30 a.m. at Seven Hills Crematorium, Ipswich, and afterwards at Leiston Town Athletic Association from 12.00 p.m. onwards. All welcome.
