SEWARD Brian John. Died at home on January 14th 2023, aged 83. Will be greatly missed by his wife Anne, daughters Sarah and Juliet, and five grandchildren. Funeral service at Playford Church on Friday January 27th 2023 at 11.00 a.m. No flowers, but donations for Marie Curie may be sent to E B Button & Sons Ltd, 24 St John’s Street, Woodbridge, IP12 1EB or collection in church.

Brian was for many years General Secretary of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History, and became a Vice President. He was one of nature’s gentlemen, always helpful, always dependable, and always interested. He remained actively involved in our organisation to the end, attending lectures and sharing anecdotes. He will be sorely missed.
