CADET COLLEEN ELIZABETH Passed away peacefully at Ipswich Hospital on January 11th, 2023 aged 86. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday February 15th at St Marys Church Bramford at 1.30 p.m. followed by interment at Bramford Cemetery. Donations if desired are being received in loving memory of Colleen made payable to Great Dane Rescue and sent care of Michael Smy Funeral Directors,145 Felixstowe Road, Ipswich, IP3 8EB

For you, Colleen, My Dear Friend

Chance brought our world's together
With exotic clothes and shoes of leather
From here our friendship began to grow
Becoming close to family with you and Joe

We may have briefly drifted apart
But our connection grew from the heart
Something that could never be broken
Always there but left unspoken

Your ambitions in life were inspired
The pure dedication is what I admired
Our late nights sewing over a cup of tea
That time together meant a lot to me

For now this loss is hard to tend
There is no stitch to help this mend
This goodbye is hard to say
So I'm leaving my love here today
