SHAPLAND MICHAEL It is with very great sadness that the family of Michael Shapland announces his death, following a long illness. He passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2023, aged 82 years. His beloved wife Rita and his son Andrew were by his side. Michael will be so sadly missed always by Rita and Andrew and remembered by his surviving brothers, Ivan, Reggie, sister Sheila, their families and all his friends. Rita and Andrew would like to thank all of the Nurses, Health Workers, Matron Sharon Hughes and Specialist Consultant Dr. Rana Rabbani, for the care, empathy and kindness shown, whilst Michael was in Shotley Ward, at Ipswich Hospital. The Funeral Service will be held at St Pancras Church in Ipswich on Wednesday June 7th, 2023 at midday.
