EDWARD HUGH BARRETT (TED) passed away peacefully at Grove Court Care Home, Woodbridge on 6th September 2023, aged 92 years. Loving husband of the late Miriam and much loved dad to Nicky and Terry, grandad to Helen and Ben and great grandad to Alfie, Lily and Freddie. The funeral service will take place at All Saints' Church, Wickham Market on Monday 2nd October 2023 at 2.00 p.m. Family flowers only but donations, if desired, to East Anglian Air Ambulance via https://ted-barrett.muchloved.comTributes

It is with sadness that I learn of Ted's passing and my condolences go to Nicky and her family.
He was my First Cousin, once removed. I found him when doing my family history research. After an initial phone call, I arranged to visit with my late wife.
He lived in the village where my father was born and lived, before moving to London.
We talked about my new found family, the village and our common interest in birdwatching. I really enjoyed the time spent in his company and regret not visiting him more.
