ANNE COULTAS DUNFORD OBE (néé Tunnel) On 15th September, 2023. Passed away peacefully at Ipswich Hospital. Late of Fastolfes, 30 Newell Rise, Claydon, Ipswich, Suffolk. A much loved friend to dear Brian, mother to Sahra, Chris and the late Andrew, mother-in-law to Sharon and grandmother to Laurence and Joseph. Private family service in Saint Mary Magdalene Church, Westerfield, Ipswich followed by internment in adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only. Memorial service on Thursday 26th October at 11.30 a.m. in St Mary-le-Tower Church, Tower Street, Ipswich IP1 3BE and afterwards in the Ipswich Institute Reading Room & Library. All friends and former colleagues welcome. Donations if desired to the following: St Mary-Le-Tower church, Ipswich, St Mary Magdalene church, Westerfield and Girl Guiding, c/o Farthing Funeral Directors, Ipswich. Sorely missed by her family and friends.

Anne and my family met whilst researching our family history. We both share a common ancestor - which was thrilling. Ever since, Anne and I shared many emails, phone calls and met when we could. We live in Poole Dorset, so we did not meet up as often as I would have liked.
Anne was a wonderful person who I grew to love very much over the years.
Funny, kind, extremely generous and a big Ipswich Town fan. We talked about football a lot.
The world is a lot poorer place with Anne not in it.
We will miss you.
Very sincere condolences to all close friends and family.
