JOHN H. COOKE Passed away peacefully in St Elizabeth Hospice on February 29th, aged 78. Much loved Husband of Diane, dearest Dad of Jonathan and Stephanie, much loved Grandad of Josephine, Lillie and Iris. The funeral service will take place at Ipswich Crematorium West Chapel on Wednesday 27th March at 11.45 a.m. Family flowers only, donations if desired can be made to St Elizabeth Hospice via the online tribute page john-cooke-1945-2024.muchloved.com

To a very dear dad and grandad,
We miss you everyday and we can't believe we won't see you again, let alone hear you laugh or talk. Everything happened far too quickly in the end!
I am so glad I was able to see you in the hospice and say my silent goodbyes.
You will be remembered fondly everyday. You were one of a kind, John 'Cooke's of Ipswich' Cooke. Simply the best!

A special man who always had a smile, even though life was often difficult for him.
John was one of life’s “characters” and we are very grateful to have known him.
