PETER JOHN BARKER Passed away peacefully in hospital on 16th March, 2024, aged 86 years. Loving husband of Marion, devoted dad to Ian and Sam, dearly beloved gramps of Tasha, Vinnie, Amber, Ella, Lana and Rocco, step-gramps to Charlotte and Tom, and great-gramps of Sienna and Harley. Funeral service at Seven Hills Crematorium on Thursday 11th April, 2024, at 1.30 p.m. Family flowers only please, donations if wished payable to Shine (a charity very close to Peter's heart) and may be sent to Susan Whymark Funeral Service Ltd, Chestnut House, 12 Progress Way, Eye, Suffolk, IP23 7HU or made online at www.susanwhymark.co.ukTributes

My dear Uncle Peter
Ridiculously it has been so many years since I last saw you and now it will be forever too late.
So many of my happiest childhood memories were spent with you, Auntie Marion, Ian and Sam. Afternoons playing scaletrix or snooker (I was never any good at either of them), your always enormous Christmas tree and celebrations and the general warmth in your house.
Your kindly, benevolent, approach was always welcome. Your quiet, thoughtfulness has stayed with me all these years and will continue to do so.

So sorry I am not there in person to say my goodbyes as we are away in Portugal. I will be thinking of the whole family.
