Plans to expand a Suffolk dental surgery in Hadleigh have been submitted to planners.
Hadleigh dental surgery's plans have been lodged with Babergh District Council.
It plans to expand into 21 High St, following the purchase of the property which used to be used for commerical purposes.
The surgery currently occupies 17-19 High St.
The plans would also create up to nine jobs and include three new surgeries.
Hadleigh Dental would also like to open on weekends - something they currently only do once a month.
This would allow the surgery to offer out-of-hours care.
The planning and heritage statement for the plans - prepared by Box Valley - says: "Hadleigh Dental is the only NHS advanced dental trauma centre in East Anglia.
"Offering dento-alveolar trauma services, the Ipswich Hospital currently transfers to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital.
"This further promotes the town of Hadleigh in the wider community.
"If the three additional surgeries are made available this would also improve employment for the local area and job retention in a time of economic uncertainty."
