A second application seeking retrospective permission to run a holiday let has been made within the space of a month.
A planning application has been submitted for the change of use of an outbuilding at Red Brick Cottages in Palgrave, following a letter from the district council's enforcement team.
The premises was previously in commercial use as a hairdressing salon but was converted into a holiday let in April 2022.
The applicant has put measures in place to minimise the impact on neighbours, including a 10pm curfew for the jacuzzi, an 8pm curfew for music and a no pet policy.
This is the second retrospective application submitted for a holiday let in the Babergh and Mid Suffolk districts of Suffolk this month.
The Hayloft at Pilgrims Barn in Hitcham was refurbished with Babergh District Council's permission in Spring 2021 and was first rented as a holiday let in June.
In early December, the applicant sought retrospective permission for a change of use from residential to a holiday let.
