A noise warning has been issued to people living near RAF Lakenheath on the Suffolk-Norfolk border as pilots at the US airbase carry out night-time flying.
RAF Lakenheath has warned of noise disruption in the surrounding area between June 20 and June 21.
During the two-day exercise, there will be sirens, messages sent over the giant voice system, and increased activity including an increase in flying operations and night operations.
A spokesman for the airbase said: "The routine exercises allow the airbase to posture the force, ensure personnel understand their role in proper protective actions, understand pre and post attack conditions, and Tactical Combat Casualty Care/Contaminated Casualty Care.
"All training will be conducted in accordance with Ministry of Defence and UK airspace regulations."
