A cafe in north Suffolk was left out of pocket after some cyclists took off without paying their bill.
The Suffolk Jungle Room, in Metfield, posted on its social media following the incident on Sunday, June 11.
Several cyclists had ordered coffee and bacon sandwiches, which they ate before leaving the premises.
The friendly appeal on Facebook was shared more than 100 times by members of the cycling community, who united to help find the culprits.
On Sunday, another group of cyclists went a step further and helped contribute towards the unpaid bill.
"The cycling community and beyond shared the life out of that post and we're very grateful," a post from The Suffolk Jungle Room read.
"Then yesterday this bunch of wonderful cyclists went a step further and even contributed towards the unpaid tab! What a gesture."
The Suffolk Jungle Room opened in February 2022 and the business has grown quickly, opening a second site in Redlingfield recently.
It has also announced plans for a third site to open at The Wissett Plough, Halesworth, in August.
