Taking a train trip is often a popular pastime during the long summer holidays - but this year there are several disruptions on the Greater Anglia network.
This weekend a strike by RMT employees means there are reduced services on most lines - and no trains at all between Ipswich and Felixstowe or Harwich to Manningtree.
Passengers travelling on other routes should find a train - but there are some significant changes. There will be only one train every two hours between Ipswich and Lowestoft rather than the normal hourly service.
Next week and the following week ASLEF - which represents train drivers - is working to rule meaning there will be some service cuts.
From Wednesday August 16 the East Suffolk Line will be closed between Ipswich and Saxmundham for 10 days as Network Rail replaces track in the Woodbridge area.
Buses will replace trains between Ipswich, Woodbridge, Melton, Wickham Market and Saxmundham with trains running from there to Lowestoft.
It's the second major closure of the year, but Network Rail says it should help improve services on one of the region's best-known lines.
And at the end of August buses will replace trains between Witham and Chelmsford over the Saturday and Sunday of the bank holiday weekend - trains should operate on a normal bank holiday timetable on the Monday.
It is still possible that there could be more industrial action called for the end of August - but most now seems to be focussed on reducing services rather than leading to total cancellations.
The overall advice is that passengers should check online before making any train trips over the summer.
The majority of services will be running - but there will be disruption at times, particularly on some of the most popular routes for those heading out on a day trip.
