A Suffolk litter picker and campaigner has appeared on This Morning to talk about his upcoming litter museum in Woodbridge.
"Litter doesn't have to be boring," said presenter David Fishwick before he entered the Vintage Litter Museum in Woodbridge.
The ITV show paid a visit to showcase Jason Alexander's litter collection that is about to go on display at a museum in Woodbridge.
"It was really nerve-wracking but you get a buzz from being on live TV," said Mr Alexander, who has also recently featured in The Guardian.
"It's great to share something you are passionate about.
"The crew arrived several hours early so that they could sort out what we were going to cover, have a few rehearsals and then we went live.
"Dave Fishwick is a character and exactly how you would expect him to be."
This is only the start of the TV coverage for the Woodbridge local, who has a film crew from France booked into film at the museum in the coming weeks.
"We've had nothing but positive responses," said Mr Alexander.
"We've only just started sharing the museum and it hasn't even launched yet, so we are really hoping for a snowfall when it opens."
Mr Alexander started collecting litter after setting himself the challenge of capturing 100 sunrises in 2014.
He realised how much litter he was moving out of the way to get the perfect shot and started collecting the trash.
Now he runs Rubbish Walks, a social enterprise specialising work tirelessly to raise awareness about the issues of litter, single-use plastics and waste in general.
The Vintage Litter Museum will open on October 27 and feature a pop-up from Sci Daniels, finalist on Masterchef: The Professionals.
Chef Daniels is setting up Sci's Kitchen, a company that will take food close to its sell-by date and create meals to serve in the community.
Mr Alexander has big dreams of taking the Vintage Litter Museum on tour around the UK, to create a youth hub in the community of Woodbridge, and, one day, having the museum led by the local young people.
At the end of the interview on This Morning, David Fishwick handed Mr Alexander a Kitkat wrapper to place in his collection of "rubbish celebrities."
