A West Suffolk town has been crowned the best floral town in the UK in the country's largest community gardening competition.
44 community gardening groups were finalists in the 2023 Britain in Bloom UK finals, which took place on October 23.
Brandon in Bloom represented East Anglia in the town category, for towns with a population between 8,000 and 12,000 people.
"We were put forward to the national finals by the Anglia in Bloom judging team this year based on our results in 2022," said Rachel Sobiechowski, head of horticulture at Brandon in Bloom.

"It felt like a huge challenge to take on, especially as this is only our fourth entry into the bloom competition."
Every town nominated in the town category won a gold award but there was one overall winner for the category.

"When James Alexander-Sinclair (the presenter) said the winner was Brandon, our jaws hit the floor and we had to hold each other up to get back on the stage to receive our plaque," said Rachel.
"It's still not sunk in. 'Best floral town in the UK' is a magnificent achievement and I am so proud of everyone involved."
Earlier this year Brandon in Bloom won seven awards in the Anglia in Bloom competition, including a gold for best King's Coronation Display.
